This post will be from a new series of short ideas. So let’s keep it simple. This is a perfect autumn – winter somewhat healthier dessert. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
apples (at least 4)
quince
(for variety – optional)
nuts & seeds mix (at least 4 tbsp)
2 tbsp olive oil
Topping (optional) :
200 ml fresh cream
1 tsp powdered sugar
Quick Guide:
Preheat oven at 180°C ( about 360°F)
Clean the apples, cut them in halves, remove the stub and keep skin on if possible. Quince will be prepared in the same way. In this case I recommend the fruits to be cut into thicker slices.
Put them in a baking pot/ramekin, cut side up.
The quince, if used in your recipe, should sit at the base of the pot/ramekin. This will give the dessert a better consistency as the quince will remain firmer than the apples when cooked.
Spray each layer with olive oil (or coat gently with a deserts brush).
Fill/sprinkle with nuts and seeds
Bake in a preheated oven for at least 20-25 min.
Can be serverd with fresh wipped cream on top:
pour fresh cream into a bowl adding the suggar and whipping it with a mixer at high speed for at least 4-5 min until stiff peaks are formed
